Conference objectives

  • Complex systems are studied in many areas of natural, social, engineering and mathematical sciences. Discrete modeling forms an integral part of these  studies.  The aim of the conference is to establish a discussion forum  for  researchers working on the discrete modeling of complex systems.
  • The Summer Solstice 2018 Conference topics are focused on, but not limited to, the following:
    • Theory of modeling and discrete model simulation by cellular automata
    • Hidden geometries in networks
    • Innovative methods and modern tools of multiscale computing
    • Agent systems of spatially extended systems
    • Integrative approach: discrete models driven by data
  • The Post Conference Proceedings are planned to appear in Acta Physica Polonica B Proceedings Supplement. All conference participants are invited to submit a paper for publication in the Proceedings. All submissions will be peer-reviewed. Each submission must go through EasyChair, see Submission Guidelines for details
